Hi all.

Just purchased a 55 plate 206 1.4hdi, but it only has the 1 line mfd. Ive read you can upgrade to the 3 line mfd. Confident with sorting that. Issue is, where is the best place to get the button for the wiper stalk? Will i have to buy the whole comms unit? Been searching on ebay for the button but no luck.

My first 206 had the 3 line display, and it would be useful to have the miles till empty and mpg etc etc

Thanks

I don't think the buttons are separate so you probably need a replacement com2000 unit ....

And PP2000 as the bsi will not be setup to handle the 3 line unit

And remember there are TWO different MFDs .. one premux, one for multiplex and they are NOT interchangable.

I swapped out the 1-line MFD on our 1.4Hdi (2002) and it works for the basic stuff (radio, doors, etc) but can't get the outside temp to work (even with PP2000) and don't have a button to try the other settings .. I can't even get the button black out to test it with a cocktail stick!

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

It will require the whole comm unit to be changed. Quick simple job just remember to take your battery off first and follow the correct procedure.
