Got the 206 here factory wired with the cigar lighter straight to the battery. A bit of a pita tba. I'd like to have it only coming on from a switched live. The Haynes wiring diagram seems to indicate the cigar lighter (99) can be supplied either directly from the battery or via the ignition switch, Sod's Law this is direct. It comes off F23. F22 for the clock, shares the same feed as F23. Obviously I don't want the clock on switched live.
At the mo the missus uses the cigar lighter socket for either charging her phone OR powering the dash cam OR the Bluetooth hands free thing. Can't run more than one as the double/triple adapters stick out too far and interfere with gear changing.
Thinking to rewire the cigar lighter from a switched live. Any thoughts? Not sure where that link between the tops of F22 & F23 will be. Maybe cut that then run a wire direct to switched live on the ignition switch presuming there's a spare "lug".
Secondly does anyone know of any little "take off blocks" that can connect direct to 12V but then have a line of USB sockets, ideally Mini-B types? Then I could hard wire the dash cam and Bluetooth hands free thing direct into that up behind the dash leaving the cigar lighter for her phone.
Cheers

You do not need to do any cutting or major modification to change the lighter socket to switched.
There is an option for this by fitting the lighter fuse to an adjacent position, depending on year of model.

IIRC this era of Peugeot had the option of either switched ( factory default ) or permanent live options for the lighter socket by moving the appropriate fuse in the fuse box.
The slot is slightly bigger & has 3 terminals - one pair sets it as switched, move the fuse to the other pair to set it as permanent.

Just to say a huge thanks to @Mrbsi & V9977.
I just moved the 20A F23 over in the panel under the dash! Simple as you said. From one leg in black and one in yellow to both in yellow.
Means I can leave the dash cam plugged in and not worry about SWMBO or my lad forgetting to plug it in when they start off.
