Hello everyone, I am searching for coding options for ours 206 mux. But I cannot find much information. I know it's an old car but it has some coding options. Such as rear wiper activation in reverse, automatic headlights with interior lights, radio brightness, radio levels, locking and etc. So I am looking for a options list with some step by step instructions. If you know another option that can be activated, post it here. If you know procedure for it great also post it here. Thank you

Been a few years since I last tinkered with a 206's BSI
Whatever you do - only change one option at a time & see what effect it has on the vehicle before you make any more changes.
Make sure you keep a record of the option settings BEFORE you make any changes just in case something goes wrong & you need to change it back!
While a mulitplexed 206 is pretty basic compared to more modern PSA stuff, its still possible to cause unwanted issues activating options not fully supported by your vehicle.
Good job you don't have a newer PSA product as Peugeot have now locked out BSI configuration set up tinkering unless you pay for an online access token to connect the car to there server to allow access in.

The only things I've tried to play with are the radio and external temp sensor.
When we bought the 206 I had the radio/cassette replaced with a radio/CD player by the dealer as part of the purchase (one year old). Being a Style it only had front speakers. I added rear speakers but they wouldn't work. Turns out that this was a BSI setting. While doing that I found that I could also activate Long Wave on the radio as the dealer didn't bother.
I later upgraded the MFD to the more advanced one which has the outside temperature. Again this is in the BSI settings, but I haven't got it to work. I think it is loom issue now, so I gave up with that for now and disabled it in the BSI otherwise it was always showing -1C!

I have found some options in radio module which I don't understand. Radio levels, although it will translate to radio laws and there is from 0-10 ? Mine was at law 2..don't know what that mean. Also I have found brightness level for radio illumination, and changed it to medium, but I didn't found that same option for ac display..

I once went frenzy and changed some alarm settings like the indicators blinking pattern.
And after changing either the type or preset, the alarm red light (embedded into the hazards/lock button) is now constantly lit while driving in the GTi 180.
Did the same change to the CC, LED is constantly lit with one setting, and switches of with another setting. Yet on GTi 180 that's sadly not the case and now I'll have to drive with a tape around that LED (will have to keep removing it everytime I park with alarm for the night )
In short yes, be careful with the settings

My old 206 the red alarm led would stay lit all the time when driving with the doors locked.
