Hey all,
Does anyone know the peugeot part number for 206 bonnet insulation? Or where I can get it? No luck on eBay.
Previous owners removed it. My washer jets were leaking onto number 4 injector coil and caused a failure. I believe this would have been prevented at least with some insulation, also its annoying seeing steam off the bonnet in rain. It should be there.
Take this as advice to anyone who decides to remove it. It could prove costly.
Matt

Not all 206s had under bonnet insulation fitted.
The smaller engined versions certainly didn't.
My old 206 TU3 never had it but I did retrofit fit as it helped reduce some noise.

Have a look for someone breaking a 206 on ebay and send them a message .. they don't always list all the parts ...

Thank you for the tips. Do you also happen to know the size of the washer tubing on the 2006? 2002 plate

With quick googling I believe the part number for the bonnet insulation is 7979F0.
Correct me if I'm wrong?
