Okay so the story began about 4 years ago, on a Slovenian Peugeot fan forum. I was searching for some info about P307, that my sister was buying at the time (that's the blue one on the pics below). Being bored of going through all the problem pages I took a look into the "Members cars" part of the forum and made the fatal click that led me into the world of the peugeot 206 s16 obsession :ugeek:
Needless to say I stopped searching for info about the 307 and started searching for everything that I could find about 206GTi. I went through all YT movies, reviews, topics, presentations, anything that I could possibly find on the net.
Whilst searching I discovered 206online.com (rip) and 206info  Anyway I started thinking just about how I want to buy this car and about a year and a half ago I finally did.
:hand: Before I continue I need to thank a friend (Legoless) who made quite a few miles to help me pick a good one (most s16/GTi's in Slovenia have been crashed, rolled etc) actually a few hundred miles to be exact.
So in the beginning of August 2008 we went to check out a white 206GTi at a local trader. We were skeptical from the get go as the car was imported from Italy (imports from It. are usually wrecks), the clutch bearing was worn, timing belt was giving out all sorts of sounds, and the gas pedal seemed to be way too short :think: 
But then a ray of light  We checked the whole car with a paint thickness meter and it was all in the factory parameters, we almost took apart the car and found no trace of any tampering on the bodywork. I have never seen a 206 GTI/180 that wouldn't at least have a bit of parking damage. So that was a big plus for this car 
I really took my time thinking about should I buy it or not, went to check a few more S16's but one was worse then the other
In September 08' i finally took the plunge and bought the car of my dreams...
I still remember how thrilled I was when I first drove it out the car park. Timing belt and clutch bearing squealing, gas pedal way too short, driving on reserve gas but I didn't give a flying F. The first thing I did was take it to the gas station (filled it up and adjusted the throttle cable) then took it to a mechanic  It was running like a dream after that apart from a few intermittent Peugeot electronic problems
A few info we all probably already know:
Model: 206 GTI/s16 2.0 16v
Power/Torque: 136hp/190Nm (It showed a bit more on the dyno but can't find the printout )
top speed: 210km/h
0-100km/h: 8.4s

I know the rim is scratched but that's the cost of buying an Italian import

Well lets continue...The first thing I changed on the car was the audio system as the original is well... eeeerm too quiet
So here it goes:
Blaupunkt Memphis MP66 and Dragster DSK 672.1 front system.
Supplying power for the front system Ground Zero GZTA 2.250 MK2

Then I ran out of space om my picture phone 
Anyway I thought I'd last longer with out a woofer but I didn't. So a month later something else was added:
woofer Alpine 1243D
Powered by Stealth AMP 1.8
Having the cables all over the boot wasn't looking too good so when I had some free time I made a false floor:

After a while I finished the top plate and it was all ready for atest assembly:

The plexiglass is completely transparent, it just had the protection layer still on it as I didn't want to scratch it

okay lets make another update this time performance orientated:
I got a call that a package from UK was waiting for me...
hmm let's take a look inside...
And after 2 months of waiting:
I think you all know what these are (Bilstein B8 + Eibach sportline)
And one more non performance part
Almost forgot about the Griffiths Quickshift that arrived that week
It was a pain in the ass to install before we figured out we could just take out the battery
At first we had some problems with the torsion bars at the back plus it was too high and it had to be redone the next day as the car started going sideways in sharp turns which was to say the least unpleasant. :shifty:

This is absolutely fabulous a 206 in white can not beat it !! white cars are ace even if I am biased a lot
Like b said a spoiler would finish it maybe some vortex's but they have been done to death still very nice car !! Do you have musch trouble keeping it clean? mine is a real pain

car looks good. perfect drop on it. also i am planning a simalar install in the boot if i get it as good as yours ill be happy one thing i will say is how much gap you got from the sub to the top bit of wood seems close just dont want the sub hitting it really.

@Brian, hehe it's already been taken care of, I just haven't had the time to make an update on the exterior yet. I'll write it up tomorrow
@Dillon, yup keeping it clean is a bi*ch, especially during winter. But I just love white cars, so I can live with it. As for the wheels, I'll probably stick to original ones and refurbish them to anthracite + 17" only reduce performance + tires cost more
@Ruffy, its just about flat (i.e. no gap when the boot is closed), but I've measured everything before constructing it, so it doesn't hit anything

Stunning car mate, i'm thinking of a simular suspension set-up, what is the ride comfort like? is it bumpy and stiff? I had spax set-up on my old 206 and it was really stiff and could feel every bump in the road.

It's pretty stiff but I think a lot of that has to do with me having a f'ed up rear axle. Still it's not a very comfortable ride (though I love it through the corners)
