cost alot in the end mate lol, i got it done at pugperformance but you'l be lucky to get one, colin said he wouldnt do another, pug1off didnt want to do it n well your best bet would be ecosse but gota have deeeeep pockets as the engine alone isnt cheap.

the engine alone rebuilt cost around 4k mate

i could have done that but well like brian said, i wanted to be the first n well the t16 engine is highly tunable!!!

a gti turbo would have been loads easier as the t16 wasnt designed to go in a 206 engine bay!!!

100% agree with you just saying thats all, if you had the cash why not i say !

the reason the engine cost so much is that its the same engine they used in this!, Just de-tuned for the road going version. commons.wikimedia.org/..._Peak.jpg.

any one else thinking of buying a t16 make sure it is a real one , some people try pass on the 306gti with a turbo on as the t16 !

Ive seen 2 gti turbos being passed off as t16s lol, i know mine is a cert which is good lol.

Colin who did the conversion has a t16 at 500bhp+ so i may strip the pug n aim for that at the end of the year lol

Mate that is a sick sick little beast.

I have the same colour as yours! But it's a derived van, so I'm going to be a bit different!

Any chance you'd let your lipped alloys go?

Need a new set.

Cheers Carlos!

i have looked at the t16 in a bit of detail over the years and have read loads of stul saying with little mods the can sit at 300bhp easy with standard internals ,

to say this engine is about 22 years old ish ? its up with the best of them ,

eg the new focus running 300bhp !

Probably one of the best engines they have made,

not too sure about the 206 wrc it may well be ? ill have a read up on it ,

could be the same for the 207 2000 too,

what i would do next if i was you is do a 4wd conversion , i have see a 206 gti round my end a few years ago running a cosworth (escort) engine and 4wd system ,

maybe you could get one from the 405 t16 as i think they were 4x4

The T16 was used in neither the 206 or 207, there is 4x4 running gear out there as it was used on the WRC cars however it won't be cheap.
