Just a small update, the eagle eyed among you may have noticed after i painted the side of car i had 2 different shades of red Sad
the orignal colour i got around 3 years ago and supplier has gone out of buisness so i needed more paint and new supplier tells me there was only 1 shade and orignal paint was wrong colour for the code.
I was never 100% happy with 1st shade as i was expecting it to be reder(if thats even a word)
anyway long story short couldnt get a match for orignal paint so ended up repainting doors, roof and boot here's a pic from today finally all the same shade of red was a bit of a setback but looks a lot better Laughing

I sort of had lost interest in this for while but after break away from it i got stuck in again
I took back out orignal rear axle i got a 206SW rear axle but it had drum brakes, so i converted it to use 288mm front discs used the callipers from front brake kit i had and widened the track of axle by 160mm,removed the orignal anti roll bar and fitted adjustable ARB and finally fitted alloy Peugeot Sport axle bushings.
Other bits done are
Front driveshafts are now sorted and fitted
Peugeot Sport sump guard fitted
Fitted Front Heated windscreen & 1/4 windows
have set a deadline to do my local Tarmac Stages Rally at end of Feb so will have regular updates on this Laughing
next on list is finish bodywork then engine & gearbox rebuilds
here are a few pics of progress

Nice progress Brain. But your inlet ports looking small to me. Which inlet system you will use.
I think you need GTI180 inlet manifold gasket for measurement and port match.
