Hi guys, just resprayed my bits for under the headlights (which may I add came out rather fine for a first attempt at spraying anything - thanks for the hints Teebag), but without realising I got to the end of the can and it sprayed out some larger, darker bits of paint which can be seen in this picture:

Is there a way to get rid of them? can I polish them out?

Maybe try claying it. That will remove over spray but I don't know about big clumps of paint

Polish it. If it's the very top layer it will polish off.

Mix up a washing bowl of water and the good old fairy liquid and get some 2000 grit sand paper and some 2500grit or higher (MUST BE WET & DRY) dunk the sand paper in the water then lightly rub the paint until smooth then re clear coat it and polish
