As the title suggests, I've ended up with a 206. Not a bad runner, 1.1L with 35,000 miles on the clock. I've bought this as my first car and have had it for a few months but thought it was time to crack on with the mods. Only problem is it's moonstone blue, not the most laddish of colours, so I'm gonna make the best of a bad situation. Here's the beaut:

I plan on doing the following, starting tomorrow with the first:

-Complete refit of the sound system, new speakers front and rear will be amped along with a dual 10" sub arrangement in the boot, all Vibe Blackair - doors will be treated with sound deadening material
-Black alloys of some description, will probably get some 17" wheels over the current 14" ones fitted
-Tinting of the rear 3 windows
-Fitting of a new rear spoiler for styling.

I'm pretty happy with the interior so will be leaving that as it is. I might consider adding a new exhaust, if I do then it'll be a Cherry Bomb.

Considering I've got pretty much everything for the sound system well below the RRP, it's still cost me a lot :/ Should be worth it though!

I'd make colour coding a priority so it doesn't look like such a basic model! With some crystal lights and some nice OEM alloys. It needs a nice, tasteful upgrade rather than trying to make it what it isn't.

Also the first two are nice and cheap and hardly effect insurance compared to the other things youve got planned!

A sounds system is fair game though, it was the first thing to be bought in my first car, and it's been transferred to this one. I love my music Very Happy

I like that idea, I will be looking into the colour coding ASAP because the black plastic does cheapen it a bit. I'll have a look around at alloys and see what fits best. The music has always taken priority for me, what 17 year old doesn't love a decent tune Razz

Also, nice to see someone from Truro/Falmouth. I'm a Falmouth lad myself until a few years back Smile

But don't do the mirrors as it just looks like the whole car has visited a bodyshop instead of being factory colour coding.

Cherry Bombs just sound amazing, but I'll have a look around for a custom one instead. Off to have the speakers and subs fitted, should have some quality pictures later Smile
