So everytime I put my key in and put the car to ignition, the stop light comes on for 2 or 3 seconds then turns off - its been like this since the car was brand new and I dont think its a problem. After the light turns off I start the engine and everythings fine. Ive always wondered, whats happening in the few seconds before the stop light turns off? Is it anything, and should I wait for it to turn off before I start the engine each time? Cheers

It goes off after a second or two, if I start my car with it still on it flashes the stop light and beeps for another second or two then goes away
