My Peugeot is a 51 LX model, as far as I am aware it only has the standard immobiliser. I was wondering if this is enough security for my car or would you recommend me getting a 3rd party alarm installed? If so what alarms would you recommend?
Cheers
Lee

unless you have anything valuable in there the standard system should be fine. Im not sure alarm pricing, but maybe a good idea if cheapish. failing that just install a flashing LED on dash

I asked this question when I first got my 206, I was told that all you need is a large magnet to be put across the windscreen and it'd knock the alarm out or something, no idea how true it is

T can be wired in to do doors too. Or simpler way is to add a solenoid in door to pull and push lock and trip the central locking into opening. I had basically same alarm fitted to mine.
