Nice pictures but what lets it down was the use of a phone/poor quality camera

If your car was further away and you got more of the cathedral in the shot it would look better, the focus is on the cathedral because it is flooded with light - rather than on your car with the cathedral in the background.
You probably need a polarising filter to combat the glare/reflection from the light stonework of the cathedral (to tone it down), and better lighting on your car.
That's just my opinion, I am no photographer - but the lighting is the problem in your photos.
The roof reflection shot is good, but the flare from the flash spoils it tbh.

with a better cam they would be even better pics!

Yeh would be much better I'm using a proper camara tomorrow. - left my camara at home so I used my phone. So it wasn't a totally wasted journey! Ill post the better ones tomorrow!

Interesting location! A decent camera on a tripod with portrait shot getting in as much of the cathedral ass poss would be good. Avoid camera flashes and use a self-timer or shutter release cable if you have one.
Pick out some architectual detail for the background to compliment the car's shape. Try differnet angles: kneeling, laying on the ground, stand some distance away to show size between car and buildine, etc
