Put half a tank of shell fuelsave diesel in my 1.4HDi and it might just be my imagination but it seems like the engine doesn't have quite as much power as it does with regular diesels?!
Anyone else noticed this or am I actually just imagning it?!

It claims to save up to 1l over a 50l tank, thus 2% difference, which is less than 1mpg on the petrol engines and maybe 1mpg for the diesels.

There was another thread about it a while ago, and I did some maths. I can't find it now, but I'm sure the saving, for me, didn't balance out that well and was about £1 a week... but at the time, I think the Shell stuff was more expensive.

Put it like this 1st time I went I used a full tank. Last time I went with shell save I had just under half a tank left when I got back.
Driving flat-out both times, doing same sort of traveling there.
Just saying what happend lol
