Before I begin appologies to mods if this isnt in the right place, feel free to do as you please I wont take offence Very Happy

Everytime I look at Angel eyes, they all seem to have some slight differences, some are H7 some are H1. Also they seem to vary by manufactures as well.

Can someone please explain to me the differences especially the H7/H1 difference?

Which are best to go for?

Thanks Smile

Go with whatever fitment would work for your car logically? Apart from that just don't buy cheap ones they all look roughly the same. Ultra are recommended to be the best iirc.

You want h1 mate. Most will come both both connections anyway ..

There was some club discount that could get you some for £100 think it was ultra.

The angel eyes ive had: HK, sonar, ultra, junyan.

You can tell by looking at them which type they are, all of the above have their own individual problems. Sonar and junyan are terrible quality on the inside and very fragile, you will most likely have problems trying to align them. hk and ultra have problems of their own, but worked fine for me.

careful who you buy from too. places like essexracing will display pictured of high quality discontinued angel eyes, but when you order they will just post whatever they can get cheapest. most likely junyans. If you complain they will just ignore you. If you attempt return they will refuse to sign for it. If you send it unrecorded they will say they never got it.

Good Luck !
