Hi

I lost my key fob a few years ago, and know my spare key is starting to fall apart and the paint work around my door lock is getting scratched...

So i found that i can re-program a key... /www.programyourkeys.com/Peugeot_206_Key_Remote_Control_Reprogramming_Instructions.html

I then bought a two single button fob keys of ebay. hoping one would work.. I took the old key out and insterted into the new fob and the little chip.....

key starts the car, but i cant seem to re-program the remote...

Car is a 1999 reg. Please help Rolling Eyes

Doesnt work, that is if your existing remote, that is already synched to the car plays up. I had the same problem with the car when i got it, the battery must have died in the key so central locking wasnt working anymore, dad replaced the battery in our existing oneb, ought another one off of ebay, and tried this method - nout.

We ended up, getting a new blank key reprogrammed to work, and our old one working again, cost £160 at peugeot, and the one we bought off ofg the bay they couldnt do it.

All you need is to:

A) Phone up peugeot for the key code - £18

B) Key programmer will come out and read the code from the car already and program the key for you - £30 ish

None of this 'oh it cant be done' bully, i should know i've had it done Wink
