Funnily enough I had the same concerns..but soon after I fitted the kit I went for said drive down a very rural road, stretches some 3 miles through Boxhill area, with a mate driving his motor behind me. With main headlights on there was still great visibility, and the brake lights are deceptively dark during the daytime when not in use, but the red is just as vibrant and clear. Honestly I was skeptical too, but they really are as good as the company claim.
