Well I bought a new central locking solenoid motor and have to connect the purple end of this connector into it which is fine but the other end isn't quite working as I hoped!
I've pushed the wire into the small silver pin and crimped it tight and then when I press the pin into the block it goes all the way in but doesn't 'click' in place so it can essentially just fall out as soon as I connect the end bck to the solenoid.
I'm fairly sure they use this block else where on the car so wondered if anyone has ever worked with them before and could help?
Cheers.

There will probably be a little pin on the silver connector that you need to bend out, so when you push it in, it will 'click' and lodge into place.

the silver pin need to be connected to a wire, and when you do,it will be thicker, and then it won't fall out anymore

Cheers for the answers, I've had a look at bending back one of the little pins but can't see one that'd lodge in place and I've not got any spares unfortunately
Timon, I've got all the cables attached in my other block and even with the wire attached they don't hold in :/
