A few months ago I put a GTi spolier on my car, only to find out the original aerial hits it as I open the boot so I took it off. I am now sick of the radio going in and out of tune. Has anyone had to replace their aerial because of putting the spoiler on? Which is the best to go for?

Cheers, Mike

the reason it does this is due to the aerial base being mounted slightly further back, if you have alook at newer model 206's with rear mounted aerials then you will see they are mounted slightly further away from the spoiler to stop this happening.

I dont think that there is a aerial to stop it happening because i bought the smallest aerial i could find for my old 206 and that still hit the aerial

got to peugeot and ask for the 307 stubby areial, cost ushally £7 plus VAT, if not go down to citroen and ask for a stubby areial that will fit you 206. shldnt cost u more than a $10. youll get your signal back and still have your boot fully opening

sould look like this when uve screwed it in

Not sure how well these work. But what about the Shark Fin Aerial?

I'm guessing that as it's an imitation, the signal wouldn't be strong enough.....

There's a GTi that lives near me with an aerial that has no stubb, it appears to be just a base. Is that the shark tail one?
