Ok hi guys,
I have a few scratches down to the primer on my China Blue 206 (sadface here), they're not big enough that they need spraying, they're only short streeks that could be done with a touch up paint.
Are touch up paints any good? If I bought a set from Halfrauds would I be alright?
206info.co.uk/Forums/v.../t=88.html
I saw that and his looks perfect, so if I follow that guide, reckon I'll be OK?
It really does make my car look tacky ![Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes](images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif)

I tried the Halfords touch up paint on my China Blue 206 & to be honest I wish I didn't!

I primered the scratch in the top pic & the bottom pic is how it pretty much looked after.
(Yes I know the car is very dirty in that pic)
But what seemed to make it 10x better was giving it a good days machine polish & spending time on the scratched areas.

Yeah I'm afraid I did.
I borrowed a friends Meguiars dual action machine polisher & Menzerna cutting compound polish & finishing polish. Plus 4 different pads (well 2, cutting pad & finishing pad, but in small & large sizes)
Took me about 12 hours but the finish was amazing!
