V. nice. How much did all that cost you to get the FMIC then? I was thinkin of getting one myself last year but ran out of money for my car lol.
And where did you get it all from?

haha it's actually not hooked up yet mate.
repairs to the car ( some wear and tear and some my own fault xD ) means taht it's halted atm
though i am slowly working my way there.
all the parts for it so far have been bought from ebay

nice one. I'll come to you then if I start buying the stuff if you don't mind. I mean for measurements and all that and everything else I need to know. I wouldn't have a clue lol. Would everything from a 1.6 GTI HDI fit aswell and would that work the same?

dan i think all the 1.6 hdi's parts are different unfortunatly, also alot of the 2L hdi's parts are different to other 206 2L hdi's as i've found out :@
don't worry mattie i'll be there
though it might be a while yet :/

How much would it all cost around about? I've always wanted to do this but I was scared about having enexpected costs.

i'll give you a hint aswell. For the love of god make sure nothing is pushing the slim line fan when you fit it.
i missed two pipes and the results where a burst radiator :'(

I think its the little bits that make it creep up. I would say 500-1000?

tom's got it about right there. but it's not really just the parts. The amount of labour put into it is harsh, plus there's no kit to buy and i'm doing all the bits myself

WOW if it's over 500 I wouldn't bother with a 92k miles car or even a 51 reg. Doesn't matter then. Maybe one day when I can afford a newer car I'd do it. Unless I get an Audi S3 that I've always wanted, then I won't need a FMIC
