Is there a spare wheel that fits a 180? Does the gti spacesaver fit?

The 180 doesn't have a spare wheel cradle, are you planning on fitting one?
The spacesaver from a GTi 'should' fit, it wouldn't be a 16" spacesaver on a GTi so should fit a 17" alloy-shod car

No I need thin wheels to fit rally snow tyres. The real snow wheels are a fortune but if I could get a spacesaver that goes over the 180 brakes then i can use them

anything 15" or over will go over the brakes, if that helps
Getting 4 of them might be more difficult though!

I believe the space saver wheel won't fit over the front brake calipers...I've never tried it though so can't confirm whether it's true or not.

you will proberbly find steelies will be enough with standard tyres. Mine never gets stuck and can go up pretty steep snowy hills without getting stuck. To be fair how often does it actually snow.

It snows a lot in Scotland where the rally will be. Plus the stellies will still be too wide! Hmm will need to try find a spacesaver that fits off another type of car

The 15" space saver DOES fit over the GTi 180 brakes. I did it myself about 6 months ago.
EDIT: I even had it over my 406 brembo calipers, with GTi 180 discs on.
100%!
