hey guys
another problem for the collection 8O, been experiencing a few problems with this recently thought il ask her see if anyone can give me advice. Got a pug206 1.1 LX and seems everytime not all the time it won't seem to go into reverse properly and if i carry on as it was on reverse i get gritty sound. I thought it wasnt in properly but even if i try takin it out and puttin it back in again same thing. Seems i have to put it in 1st gear roll up some distance then try which works fine then but seems like a little problem doing my nut in
thanks guys

You tried putting it back in neutral, release the clutch pedal, stick it back down again & then selecting reverse?

After driving 2 different Ford's this week then getting back in to the 206, I can agree the Pug gearbox is not very nice to use

all you gota do is gently keep trying to put it in reverse while lifting the clutch up slowly, you will find that it will just pop into reverse easy its what my gti does and me old mans 54 plate citroen berlingo does

Before you put it in reverse, put the clutch down, then up, then down then put it in reverse, don't have a clue why but it always seems to go in straight away if I clutch more than once..
