Hi..
just wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for a 2000 model 206 1.4 for the horn circuit? ive looked on google, but no luck..
my problem is my horn is constantly sounding, and the only way to stop it is to unplug it.. It has a constant live at the horn itself, and want to investigate it futher myself..
thanks.
After looking through the wiring diagram i found the switched side of the relay was constantly live.. after doing some continuity checks i found that the srs reel horn plug had continuity on both connector pins from the the plug that connects to the under dash fusebox. Thats why my horn was constantly blaring. Changed the srs reel and all is well again

Drop the steering column plastic trim of & disconnect the GREY 2 pin plug & see if the horn shuts up.

Viagra sorted my horn issues, but it was the opposite way to your problem.

hi..
just tried this as its all in pieces at the mo... if i disconnect the grey plug (it connects to a yellow/black and grey wire which disappears under the dash in a big loom) it still is going off..
i have taken the airbag off too, should i find a live wire behind the airbag?
i have a red and green wire but none are live.. horn is still sounding though with these disconnected, very odd..

If the horn is still going off with that grey plug disconnected then the fault isnt behind the steering wheel as that grey plug are the 2 wires for the horn.
One wire in that plug should be +12 volts & the other should be earth.
DON'T touch the orange plugs or use a test meter on them! ! !

hehe, i dont really want to replace the airbag too if i can help it.. lol
i guess tracing the wiring through to the under bonnet fuse box is the next step then..
I read about the relays and have removed the 3 i have from the under bonnet fusebox and its still going off..
i will post back later if i find anything then..
cheers.

It sounds like a wire has either shorted OR the relay is stuck on
