Right I had it last year and it has come back.

Right in my eye line where the hook is on the blade, about 2 inchs up from the base of the screen in a curve it misses the screen. I have tried the trick of putting a cable tie on the spring to pull it tighter, worked for a bit but not now. It has become dangerous to drive in the rain as the screen is not clearing right where that is.

Been told the arm has gone.

I have now got a new arm on there but it is still happening, the screen has been cleaned with white viniger and newspaper. The blade have been swapped over as well

It is still happening and it getting to the point that is dangerous to drive in the rain.

Any help would be great

Thanks

Must be something on the windscreen if you've changed blades surely?

Got a picture of what you mean?

Have you replaced the spring?

Got a brand new arm Chris, plus new blades and the screen has been cleaned.

I can try and get a picture but will be a bit later.

Ok Mikey.

I think I have a similar thing happening on my Fabia.

There is a tiny chip in the windscreen, over the space of a month or so it wears away at the wiper blade, so I have a streak going through the screen where the blade isn't making as much contact as the rest.

Have you changed the windscreen at all? as when i used to work at autoglass we had a batch of windscreens(ford focus i think) that was at fault

And in places the screens would not clear at first we told customers change the wipers then the arms etc but it was down to the screens having a sligh defect in them that could not be picked up by the eye
