got the 1.4 hdi 03 plate and it just doesnt get hot, it runs at around 70-75 degress which only gives you warm air inside the car, not just cause of the snow either, its been the same every day since we've had it, is this normal and is there a mod for this so we can have hot heaters.

Diesels do take an eternity to warm up...less energy from the fuel is wasted by turning it into heat which is why they are more efficient than petrol engines. The heaters never gets as toasty hot as petrol engine do.

fair point, but i've run a few diesel's and petrol cars and i've never really noticed a major difference with them,

yeah i do use that, i also find that windscreen does not clear while on recircultion mode, so have to turn back, but makes no differnece to the heat.
