Aren't they all the same? I think some have slightly different gearing.

they are all same the 2.0 hdis torque and speed can get a remap an intercooler and so on tho ,make it faster than standard 90bhp. The d -turbo just has sirrocos wheels and better seats as standard and bigger front and back bumpers same as gti's, so yeah be best to for d- turbo hdi probably best out of the hdi range.

Why is this always the answer, hes obviously after a derv, so why bring up gti's?
P.s. There a loads of dervs about now that would easily nail a 180, and have the torque to lose it from start.

A diesel can easily be tuned to out run a GTi all day long.
They are all the same, they use the same engine just a different trim level.

and the answer is because gtis and 180s p**s all over diesel 206s standard, the diesels you on about are not standard, so my answer is more then valid, if you care about pace in a 206 you go petrol, its not a discussion its a fact, yeah you can mod a denzil to beat a 180 but why would you bother it would cost alot, ive driven a hdi and its not even a touch on a 138 nevermind a 180

yeah tuned im on about standard, and a tuned 180 or 138 will p**s off a tuned diiesel so the argument is pointless

He wants a diesel tho
The 206 GTi is a poor attempt at a hot hatch anyway, there's a lot better out there for similar/less money.
