Basically a bit of a bodywork question, ill post a piccie up tomorrow if people want. On new years I drove with a couple of mates to a friend from unis house to spend the night, anyway on coming back it seems some chavs had decided to walk all over my bonnet and roof if id caught the little b******s i would make them pay for it but they were long gone! My mates managed to push out most of the dent on the roof as it was huge but its left lots of small little dents like ripples - my question is are these going to be repairable or am i screwed? And how much am i likely to be looking at? I dont have a huge budget as im at uni so if its above a few hundred its probably going to have to wait.
It looks terrible and I take pride in my car so im completed gutted! The bonnet got off without so much of a scratch but does has some evidence of the footprints still until I wash it. Plus one of my aero wipers is bent out of shape!

same thing happened to me mate. got massive dents on my roof and i can't push them out. they push up but just sag back down. I shoved a bit of cardboard under my roof lining and it makes one of the big ones less noticable.
Try a dent puller. get one off ebay for about 20 quid or so. failing that they will have to be fillered and the roof sprayed over but it would cost a bit. I know a local body shop and they charge very reasonable but those sort of garages are hard to come by.

It wouldn't be easy to fill a roof as there so flexible in the first place. Would be easier to put a new roof skin on the a get it painted.

Most easiest option, I think if you get a crime ref number you may be able to clim through your insurance to get it fixed.

It is, it's spot welded on.
Doesn't stop it being replaced & Peugeot do list the roof panels.

Yes there just spot welded then sealed up easer job than filling as roof panels just flex as you sand the filler down.

I think chavs is a nice way of putting it. A can think of a few words I would have used for them if it was my car. I have been drunk many of times and managed to get home with out causing Criminal damage to somebodys pride and joy and I bet most normal humans have.
