Went through a massive puddle and the engine management light came on immediatly- will it go out on its own??

Might have sucked some water up or something.

The EML won't go out until the fault has been read, fixed and cleared.

I wouldnt worry too much about it, apparently Peugots are really bad for their engine management lights coming on for the most minor reasons, mine has been on and off (mostly on) for the past year, something to do with my catalytic converter but doesnt need repaired as uve had it checked but the light just stays on!

it come on for a reason,so don't ignore it,I wouldn't,because i can't drive with orange light in my sight,so check it,and you will know for sure what it's all about.

'your cat is fudged' did u mean car? It was a professional and friend that told me this, i think generally, from my experience, Peugots are crap Shocked unfortunately im stuck with mine because i doubt anyone will want to buy it Sad
