Yeh it doesn't does it...But I suppose it does need to be settled in as it's only been sitting like that since Saturday.

Haven't tried the RS wheels on it but will do this weekend.

I'm currently trying to find a Pug jack which I can use to raise the car and then fit the main jack under as it's proving really difficult to jack the car up at it's new height.

Yeh changed the wheels over the other week as the the tyres had gone bold on the 205 wheels.

Had another looks at the rear wheels and thought they were sitting abit too far in compared to the front...even though the rears have the arches fitted.

So found the 5mm shims that I had lying around at home and fitted them along with the 20mm spacers that I already had fitted on the car.

Front are now sitting at ET-9 and the rears are sitting out at ET-14.

Also looking at getting some thinner tyres fitted to these wheels once I've got wheels refurbed back in Gloss White.

I'm buying a set of front sports arch extensions from MRP-Dismantlers so I'll have a full arch extension kit fitted to the car Smile

what size tyre you looking at?

looks good. and i think your problem with the swapping thing is the gt bumper its a big bumper.

Tyre wise I'm looking at something like a 175/50...something that I don't have a buldge that hangs over the wheels with.

This is a 6J wheel with a 165/45 tyre

 


The GT bumper is that main focal point of worrying...atm I've got the car on an area where I have to go up a gradient. Ok it's not causing any problems atm even with it sitting at 70mm lower then stand but once I go lower it might start causing problems.

i hope you can pull it off as it will look amazin but i dont thinks its going to be as easy as wheels, bumper, low done.

get the stance right and your onto a winner and i no your trying hard to do it so just hope it works.

cant wait to get some wheels for mine. debadged it today and am in the process of making a front debadge.

Cheer man Smile Like you said I am trying my hardest but with all those thing put together it's proving quite difficuly to get right.

I've had a few people say that anything below 120 is stupidly uncomfortable so I think I'm gunna leave it at 100mm all round...probs 110mm at the back just to have it level and then work out the wheels from that.

Let me know how you get on with the front grill as I had problems after problems...just threw it in the bin in the end. What wheels you been looking at for yours? I take it your going to be going one width all round?

yeah mine not the best and its about 70mm.

and ive just got all the bits i need so guna give it ago soon.

what trouble did you run into? im guna plastic weld a bit in thier trim it back then f/g or filler the bits in to make it smoth cut the badge bit down at the back and sould be irte i hope.

wheels im after sumat euroish i love bbs. but not sure if i can save that much.
so might be some gold lenso's or sumat around that price range. and yeah i think 7.5 all round i cba with arch work i will space them out right to the arch.

The main problems I ran into with the front debagde grill was that it kept cracking down the edges where the joins where. I didn't fit a brace across the middle to stop it from swaying.

I would do another one again but I'd do it properly with the brace etc.

BBS' are epic but I wouldn't be able to afford them anytime soon...yeh the lensos are nice and the gold would definately be a nice touch Smile

Front end is looking immense. My front bumper hit the ground on the odd occasion, and it wasn't even low enough at the front, on 17's! I think you'd need to be brave to run it low enough on 16's to look good, let alone 15's. It's the big overhang that's the problem with the GT bumper, changes in gradient are the problem, ie, ramps up and down multi-storey car parks and the like, and even road camber.

Thanks mate Smile Hopefully I'll have it down to approx 100mm. Gunna get the jack from the car out tomorrow so I can raise the car untill I can my proper jack in.

But I was worrying trying to get down the little slope that I have on the drive that you can go up as you come around the back of the house. My dad was watching and said I didn't have much clearance going up it but down it it didn't seem to have a problem.

Also been moving the car about with the momo team that I have and I've got to say it's awesome. Cars no harder to drive...just you can't see the dial untill you've got the rack adjusted to the highest point.

I wound the coilovers up today to 90mm and I found that when I set the car back on the floor I had more clearance from the ground then originally at 70mm. I thought about and realised that I need to wind the coilovers down to lower the car.

I'm wound the coilovers all the way down after testing a few height and not liking it. The cars now sitting at 120mm at the front.

Also tried it on a sloped area on my drive;

 


Ground clearance on the slope;

 


and it the seal of approval from the Peugeot measuring tape

 


Once that was done went up to get some stuff of the 406 we've got and came home with the auto dimming rear view mirror and also the light sunvisors;

 


I'll be taking the seats out on Monday once the batteries charged for the 406.

That does look good! I saw it on fb but couldn't tell if it was photoshop or not. Just need the rear lowering!

I wonder why I bother with this place, 4 years and all members do is slag each other off. Even Barry Boys seems a nicer place at times...

I know what you mean about the Pug fitment BBS'. I am trying to come to FCS...might be booking my tickets tomorrow for the deadline as I want to get onto stand.

That mate...it does look like it is but it isn't Very Happy I'm gunna try and get the backend done as soon as my dad understand on what to do with the torsion bars.
