Ruffy talking about bonnet bras I need to get myself another one before the cars home..! But yeh I thought I'd do something different with the car from the usual painting things different colours.

Ok I may have wasted 20 quid of paint stuff etc but giving it a second thought I think I've done it for the best as my car won't look like a chav mobile with a million different colours.

I've also taken you idea if you don't mind and use the wheel wh0res stickers I've got to put on the centre caps and also I've asked my dad to have a word with the bodyshop guy tomorrow about having the lips on the Nimrods in Moonstone Blue to match the car. Hopefully he can do it as I'm thinking I might just keep the Nimrods and spend the money from the Schmidts on bits to get the car finished up. I still want to buy my boot fill piece and this might be able to be done now with this money that I have.

Yeh enit mate...shame autobra don't do a gimp mask for the GT front end or I would have bought that..!

Yeh I were really feeling the pink after a couple of looks at it...it made the car look a wee bit puffy..!

Well I got the centre caps done today and I'm liking it...this will be the only bit of pink on the car..!

I'm getting the nut covers sprayed in Moonstone blue aswell just to add abit more colour to the wheels.

Tyres that I'm ordering are 165/45 R16...opted for these over the 40 profile versions as I'll be able to keep the speedo in tune abit more then with the 40 profiles fitted.

Let me know what you think Smile

Well time for updates...at 14 days of owning my new wheels I sold them on Wednesday after finally deciding that I would have had to go down a hellalot just to get them to suit.

The wheels that I had hiding from all apart from a few; Ruffy, Vanman etc were 8Jx15" Schmidt Modern Lines which had an offset of ET10.

I had fitted them to the car and they just weren't gunna suit the car with it sitting at 80/90mm, I couldn't go any lower because of the GT bumper.

A couple of pics fitted to the car;

Abit gutted as I wish they would have been 16" but guy looked at the once and was gone of 5mins of coming lol.

Also I finished off the centre caps for the Nimrods;

fitted the one of them into the wheel and thought it looked quite cool and different...whats everyone else think;

Also these will be going hopefully today. Notorioushaz off here has arranged to come and have a look at them a little later on so if they sell then I'll be buying a new set of wheels.

Finally I had a parcel come through the post today and inside were the 406 intercooler conversion pipes Very Happy So just need to find everything I need, buy it, and get it all fitted once the cars back Smile

Let me know what you think.

Not that I want to sound annoying or anything but..... 'told you so' Laughing . I had a bit of trouble on 17's and it wasn't even low enough! I think 16's would look the best.... but you'd need to be on air or something lol. 17's are the best bet I think. As much as I love the GT bumper they're a nightmare when it comes to lowering.

I do agree that the GT bumper is an absolute nightmare when tryin to drop a 206 and like you said air would most definately be needed with this bumper..!

But I bought the Schmidts for a stupidly cheap price and sold them for a very tidy profit...bought on a mispelt listing so I thought might aswell see what I can do.

I'm even contemplating on still getting rid of my Nimrods or even swapping them for a set of Vortex which I can have done in Gloss Black and again go with the stretch route and use them in conjunction with spacers to get a nice poke.

If you made a profit on them then it's all good Very Happy

I'd say Vortex's over Nimrod's yeah. Shame you can't find any dished 17's on any mis-spelt listings lol.

Am looking to swap and seeing what I can find. But I did find a few set of schimdts at the same time as these on the mis-spelt listing, stuff like the 'Space Wheel' but they are disgusting tbh. Did bid on a few set of BBS RM's, OZ Turbo's and a set of Schmidt TH-lines but no luck.

I was gunna buy a brand new set of MAMs but opted out as its over a 4 week wait before I get them and I want the car ready before then.

If all goes to plan and it's completed and I can get the two XSi's sold and then think about selling this one then I'll be moving on to something even better.

Yeh I did notice those on WW...chap off Cleaned-UK has them up for sale. Shame I can't afford to get the archwork done on the rear or I would have had these.

I'm currently bidding on some OEM Peugeot 17" wheels. Theses aren't Challengers, Vortexs, Hockenheims or any of the other factory fitted wheels. Lovely set of wheels but I do have a limit on how much I'm going to bid upto purely because I'll need to get them refurbed, bolts, valves & tyres. But tyres will be 165/35 R17

Just to give you an idea;

It's that time again...UPDATE..!

Cars finished at the bodyshop now and is just buffing and reassembling the major components i.e. doors, aligning bonnet, windscreen etc and then it will be home.

I've had a full set of matching Continential Conti Sport 2 in 195/40 fitments on the SW. This will allow me to go the extra little bit all round on lowness and not have to worry about scrubbing.

These will go on as soon as car comes home with 20mm spacers all round...possible 25mm at the back for a bit of a staggered look.

Front badge has been sprayed Gloss Black with Candy Pink outline and lion. This will go with the other few little bits that I've got on the car in candy pink i.e. stickers etc.

and just abit of a tease pic...GT bumper full sprayed ready for fitting...I will be tinting the fog that are for this bumper with the remaining flyeye tinting kit I have left.

But overall the car looks mint and has had virtually a full respray Very Happy
