Whats not actually working on the height adjustor?
Normally you sit on the seat, pull the handle up, seat will drop down & back then let go of the handle & the seat should stay there.

Does the adjustment lever feel very loose? Mine came back from the dealer with a loose adjuster after it had been in for something completely different.
If you take the seat out, you should be able to see a loose pin that is normally welded in place on the side of the seat frame. If you have a welder, you should be able to push the pin back in it's normal place and weld it in place. If you don't have a welder, like me, you can use a 40mm long mate bolt. Measure the length of the thicker part of the original pin and cut a length of aluminium pipe to act as a shim. then push that into place, nut at the end and it should work again.

ALRIGHT jesus i'm just saying I had a similar problem but on the passenger seat it was stuck in a posistion and i couldn't adjust it and the handle would be fine to let people in but adjustin the tilt it was like the handle was stuck. I was just making a point that it's most probably something stupid like easily fixed!!!!!!! So just read what i said instead of trying to be the ultimate knowledge I know how much of a wounder it is so I was trying to HELP

You're still talking about the wrong handle.
He's on about the one to the front and left of the drivers seat... makes the seat go up & down, not tilt.

Yeah but that's cause my belt has part twisted behind the rear doorcards and doesn't retract as it should. Gunna sort it this weekend

is it just the sport seats that this happens with or all the seats?
