hi guys

well as it says above i have managed to snap the bleed nipple on the drivers side front caliper on my GT. i have checked and it has snapped in the clossed position and there is no leakage .
am i correct to assume it is ok to drive ???????????????/ Mad

i wouldnt as i have driven without a pipe attached there are no brakes whatso ever not worth it, get a new caliper for less than 30quid

there is no change to the brakes just the end of the bleed nipple has snapped in the clossed possition . it did not open when i tried to undo it . i have pumped the brakes and no fluid leaks

Well in theory then it should be ok...but there's only one way to fix it properly. As it's snapped closed then you can still use the car while waiting for the new one to arrive.

drill it out to the next size thread and put a helicoil in and a new bleed nipple.

Just buy a new caliper. You can spend a day doing all that and its £30 for a whole new one from GSF
