Hi,

Recently purchased a 2003 206 and really love it. Only problem is that when the weather worsened in November the date, time and temp display kept cutting out. I took it back to the dealer I got it from with no joy. Has anyone else had this problem and managed to get it fixed?

Thanks for your help!

might be a dodgy pin, its causes it to look off at times when its dislodged.

is it this display?

edit: actually sorry, your 2003 car wont have this.

what do you mean cutting out? Just display not showing for a while then coming back when it wants?? checked the connections etc?

Hi DJ,

The display does look very similar to the one you posted. I would have thought that if it was a connection problem that the garage would have found it but you never know!

The display comes on but has reset almost every time you start the car and then will cut out after about half an hour or so of driving. Very annoying!

Hmm not sure as far as im aware it would only reset if the battery is disconnected or if the wire to the unit was not in properly thus when driving would cause it to cut out.

I suggest taking off the cover around the display by just pulling it up from behind until it unclips then take a look at the connection to the display.

is it this one you have?

Hi DJ,

No - I think the ones you have posted might be a touch newer than mine (!) but it does seem to have all the signs of a loose wire.

Will have a look and see what I can find.

Thanks for your help!
