hi i bought a seat, was ment to be out of a 3 door like mine but it does not quite work the same for example...

when u pull the handle on my seat it flips forward and the whole seat moves forward with it allowing access to the back but ...

the seat i brought flips forward but the whole seat don't move , so it's quite hard for people to squeeze in ,anyone know if it's because it's a 5 door seat or because it's a older version of mine ?

i think is the problem of the slider

also the seat is bigger than mine and rubs against my doors and middle of the car

Is it a GTI Seat? Sit in it, and try and move the seat back and forth with the seat adjuster under the front. Somtimes they stick.

Look at the tilt handle on the side of the seat.

The 3 door & 5 door seat handles are different Wink

The 3 door handle should have a picture of tilt with an arrow pointing backwards & also another picture of tilt & slide with the arrow pointing forwards Wink

5 door seats only have the picture of tilt with backwards facing arrow.

NOTE: This also depends on if someones ever previously changed the seat handle & fitted the wrong one Laughing
