About 2 weeks ago I got in the car to take the gf home and my abs light stayed on, until that point it always remained off, gf lives about a 15 min drive but still the light remained on until i got home later that night, the next morning it was still on but then turned off after 5mins until yesterday when it came back on but then like before, after i finished work today and started the car up the light turned off after 5 mins, not taken it to the garage yet as a bit flat on cash but am concerned as to what it might be and if having the car lowered as resulted in the abs being effected by it?

you should get it checked by a PP2000,so that you know which wheel causing the light to come on/off,so you can check it,and see what is wrong, guessing won't help much in this case.
