just noticed a popping noise from the middle arm of the door as it opens fully i think it some sort of device to stop the door opening/closing fully can post a pic if u need.
just wondered if any one else had this problem and can it be resolved cheeply and quickly as its getting abit annoying

Put some grease on it.
Edit: And it's called a Check Strap I *think*

Grease the check strap, that's the silver metal thing in the door shut between the hinges

it will probably be door check strap there £22 ebay new or first try grease it up

check that the bolts are not loose, mine were all i had to do was tighten them

its all grease up but i can see on the check strap where the greese has been removed due to it rubbing ill check the blots with its lighting tomorrow.
