Hi, my handbrake decided to fail last night and my car went for a little wonder on it's own into the side of another car. Luckily there is hardly any damage to the other car so they had told me not to worry about it.

I'm struggling with where to start with the repairs. I can pick up a new wing from ebay for £40/£50 but then need to get it sprayed. The bit under the headlight isn't damaged and just needs a couple of new clips.

the headlight trim is smashed to bits and think it may be cheaper to replace the colour coded morettes with some angel eyes Sad

Anyone any idea how much the spray job is likely to set me back?

Cheers.

Cheers Lee, realised as soon as I'd pressed submit. Fixed.

£80 for a new wing.

£150 for spray to as they'll have to colour match the paint to the bonnet & grille.

God knows how much for the morette fascia (rarer then hens teeth unless the bodyshop who you take it too can remake it out of fibreglass.

Check Ebay for colour matched ones, spotted a few 'packages' for bonnets where they will colour match it then send it to you, so i suppose they would do wings too.
This 206 IS going on a trackday despite it's every effort to stay at home in the garage!

Thats exactly what happened to mine, slid into a little truck on a mega icy road, all other roads were clear (just my luck) and I had the same damage expect a little bit of my bonnet went, barely noticeable, china blue parts hard to come by but i got a new wing, crystal headlight and fitted by a mate for £100 BARGAIN!!!

It was just above the rear wheel arch of an Astra 5 door not quite the latest shape.

Gutted about the lights, also just missed out by a week or so on a couple of breakers on here.

Looking at about £120 delivered for one like that but they do it from the colour code and I'm a bit apprehensive about ordering something like that online without them ever seeing the car as it will probably stand out as being fresh paint opposed to the 10year old paint already on the car.
