I have just aquired a 2003 206 hdi and one of the many problem i am having with the car is the fact that the buttons on the key do not work. I have changed the batterys as the one in the remote were flat. I would apreciate any ideas. Thanks in advance for any solutions

Yes but still there is still nothing. As the central locking works fine with the key i thought the problem was the remote.

You only got the one remote?
Has it never worked?
Could have had replacement key, and not got the right transponder in.

Possible. I got two keys with the car, one has a two buttons for central locking whereas the other has none.
