Basically ive got the red stop light flashing and the handbrake light is permanently on ive checked the brake fluid level and its fine the brakes are also fine, any ideas as to what the problem may be ? i also have the abs light and esp light on not sure if the 2 problems could be related ?.

Check hand brake switch under the plastic housing where handbreak is.
Dodgy earth connection on battery possibly.

don't worry,check your brakes,start with the front ones,if they are worn out,then the brake fluid level goes down,so when you go up a hill,or drive through a corner,the stop light turn on with the handbrake light as well,and it beep,happen with my car

as i said the fluid level is fine and the brakes were only changed in october
