Just had the clutch go on it got quoted 324 is this good or bad?
Need the cambelt changed i THINK because of the mileage
But the one thing that annoys me is the central locking, replaced the battery in the key and no success, the remote wont work but the keys do, on the drivers side when you unlock it it sounds like its struggling but passenger side isnt so could this matter be the motor, then the remote be some kind of receptor not working?

Try this for your key... www.206info.co.uk/Foru.../t=66.html

You could probably get the cluch done for a bit cheaper than that. The clutch kit is around £90 to buy.

Clutch Costs around here are from 179-250 so that price seems rather steep

My Clutch cable snapped not long ago and i did a quote and it came back at around £150-£200 so that seems a bit priceyy , as for the key its may just be a dodgy connection Smile Every car has its problems but its whether its worth salvaging Smile at the end of the day its your choice but i wouldnt rush into selling it Smile

except for automatics Laughing

but to be fair, pugs do have their weaknesses but they're generally predicatable and rarely rot/rust related. oh and parts are cheap and easy to find.

You've just had a bad run. In a year and a half I've only had one problem from mine. You just have had bad luck getting several problems at once.
