i hate to go against what youv said here but i would advise not leaving the heater on number one constantly, this is the main reason for heater retisitor (rear stats) burning out and sometimes damaging heater wiring. you wouldnt believe how many of these i change over the year.

Left mine on for year's, Never had a issue, Also if you look in the car manual Peugeot actually advise to never leave it on off.

Have you tried the pollen filter because I have just changed it on mine and it has made a world of difference.

was gonna mention this as a blocked pollen filter causes bad circulation in the cab meaning... you guessed it!
