Hi all, my first post and i need to ask for your recomendations on who to buy a recon rear axle for my 206 from.
I have found a few on the web like
IM axles,Fraser Brown Engineering,ssp engineering
but who would you recomend ????? the car is with my mechanic right now taking up all his room on his 4 post ramp and doesnt want it stuck on there for days so if anyone can recomend someone i can get one ordered and get it off his ramp im intruiged about the Fraser Brown Engineering one as he fills the whole thing up with lube to keep the bearings lubed and also gives a lifetime guarentee....but its more expensive HELP PLEASE

I thought the ssp engineering one (if it's called that) did them decently at a good price.

No need for the whole rear tube to be lubed. I got mine from ssp engineering, no problems so far.

There are some issues about the rear axle, actually you don´t only fill it with lube, as you may have to change the bearings (2 by side, 4 total) and the most important thing, you have to check that the "dry bearings" didn´t marked the axle, if the axle is not marked, there´s a factory kit to replace the 4 bearings, it goes around £100 (maybe a little bit less, considering that I made the conversion from MXP to BP)

Yep this is why i need a recon axle as i was just going to change the bearings for new from Peugeot but when taken apart my axle was marked
