Hey guys i have 2 weird noises with my car atm,

One is there is a droning sound coming from the back of the car sounds like its coming from the passanger sides back wheel had a look cant see it rubbing on anything but sounds like it is, when i turn slightly too the right it stops?

The other noise sounds like its to do with the clutch/gearbox or so i have been told its a bearing but that was from a mate so not sure if i can trust that advice.

When just sitting there out of gear there is a noise coming from sounds like gearbox like a metaly kind of sound, it used to only happen when not driving but now its happening all the time when i accelerate it makes the same noise for a bit then stops?

Any advice guys?

Does the noise from the gearbox go when you depress the clutch pedal? Sounds like it could be the thrust bearing.
As for the wheel, my gut says wheel bearing. Might be worth jacking up to see if any play in the wheel or if the noise is there when spun by hand.

Noise going when clutch pedal depressed doesn't rule out a gearbox problem. Is your oil level in the gearbox topped up?
An old trick to find where a noise is coming from was to use a long screwdriver, rest it on the gear box and place your ear on the end of the handle and listen for the noise. Move it around until you find the loudest spot. The modern way would be use a stethoscope.
