got redex fuel system cleaner petrol for my car to day does it do anythng??

Says what it does on the bottle. But I've also heard from others it can cause more trouble than its worth. Been told a good service and running the more expensive fuel is just as good.

infact, tbh it does f*** all, putting some higher octane fule in and kaining it would do a better job of cleaning the engine

A good service using good oil and using premium fuel will do a better job.
Once you use red-ex, you have to keep using it.

My old man reckons it's worth using. He has a lot of experience in the motor trade. Also other mechanics and people of the like have told me it's worth using.

Did you read some of the comments from that video? Use a newer engine/ performance engine lol. TBH I've always used Redex in my 206 and never had any problems, just notice the MPG increases against the times I haven't used it for a while

These aren't the same as redex. In that video the manufacturers claim that the products increase bhp. Redex doesn't claim to do that.

Had redex upset few of my old cars so don't use it now,
If I use any thing it's wynns injector cleaner that's it.

It's 99p a bottle in my local sainsburys, bought some but never tried it yet! MOT saturday so will stick some in to help emissions
