have tried forcing it to the point im jumping round in the seat like a headless chicken and the plastic handle is bending quite alot.
is their anything else i could try as its annoying me now.

even if u pull there bottom slide button?
what your saying sounds like you want it to do it all in 1 motion but can do it in 2.
the cable has broken, that links the 2, u have to take the seat cover off the seat to fix, i cant be assed to do mine, done it a few times but doesnt bother me because i don't sit in the back

no getting in the back is fine its when i have a small passenger that wants the seat to recline to a more upright postion it will not move. it fold perfect and go back and forward fine and up and down fine.
hence why its annoying me.

i have this problem aswell and i've tried forcing it too and it won't budge! i'm going to try taking it apart next week as i'm off work. will keep an eye on this to see if you find another solution rather than just forcing it.

I've got a damaged seat frame (haven't got round to binning yet) I can take pics of for you if you like? The frame is twisted so ignore that but otherwise you can get an idea of the mechanism you'll be combating?
