Just been cleaning my engine bay and after i had finished i went to start the car and drive off but before i did when the car was sitting idle it was struggling to hold the 1000rpm it usually does and juddered a lot (felt like it was going to stall but didn't) And then noticed the 'amber engine light' was flasing!! Daren't drive off until i know what it is!? Any ideas??

Where did the water trickle in?

There's plenty of electrical bits under the bonnet that wont be happy getting wet Wink

The light flashing means its detected a misfire, on constant will just be telling you its stored codes.

Has the light now turned off?

If in doubt, drop a cog and put your foot down Smile
