Hi again
I changed my off side track rod end today but I'm left a bit confused and bothered about something.
I bought the track rod end Saturday yesterday, today with my car apart I realised they sold me the track rod end for the near side, I couldn't take it back to the shop because they were closed on Sundays. Determined to get it sorted today I went to another motor factor where they also tried to sell me the near side track rod end (different manufacturer).
Surely both shops couldn't have it wrong, now I'm wondering if the shops were right and my car has had parts fitted wrong in the past.
With the threaded part pointing away the off side track rod makes a 'L' shape, is that correct?

are you sure?
because last time when i was going to change the track-rod end, the parts orginally on the car are side specific (e.g. left track-rod end are different to right track rod end).
how ever, the parts i got from eurocarparts are universal fit
so i just leave it and put the old one back.
