Hey all. Anyone found a headunit which is compatable to iphone4?
I want direct ipod/iphone imput and to be able to control it tjough the headunit.
All the ones i've found are only compatible with the 3gs.
I would like kenwood or sony. But prefer kenwood.
Oh and to have the steering remote to work still

Had my alpine for like 4 years and it works with all iPods and iPhones. (With KCE-422i)
Alpine CDE-9880R
Had my Ipod Touch working on it, then my iPhone 3G, the Mrs 3GS and my iPhone 4.
Played with both Sony and Kenwood, and neither stand up to Alpine. IMO

my cheapy from halfords (kenwood) works the iphone4
you might find they do work with iphone4 just not updated the packaging.

i would thorougly recomend Pioneer DEH-P8100BT, had this headunit for year now and does evrything u cud want from a headunit. even tho it aint kenwood or sony

I found a few i like. But i dont want to buy and find t doesnt. And dont want to do AUX. I will go into halfords and test the ones i like. Cheers everyone

I got a sony somehting or other from halfords  was 200 or 250 has bluetooth and ipod connection
they do 1 with out bluetooth for 140 ish and that works with iphone 4 aswell, but no steering controll ( i took mine off anyways because i hate them )

anyone know where's the best place to get the ipod- leads to connect up to the aux point on the stereo?

All headunits that work with a 3g/3gs will be iphone4 compatible as the pin layout in the connector is identical and its more down to the software on the phone than the model phone.
