i have a pug 1600 206 cc 04 plate and the gearbox is whining in every gear ive been told the gearboxes are rare and have been qouted some stupid prices 4 recon anybody know any body that can help me out ?ALSO can 1 stick a gearbox from another car on if so which i would be gratefull for your help

There is a guy in cheshire who breaks 206cc's. Have a hunt on ebay, he sells quite a lot from there. Maybe he has one?
