A while ago a local mechanic managed to strip one of the wheel bolt threads in the rear hub on my 206 GTI. Anyway manged to get hold of a replacement hub to swap it over. Question time now - is it a case of pop off cap in centre of hub, remove hub bolt (32mm?), pull hub off a replace?
Got a breaker bar for hub bolt, but heard its still a nightmare to remove, do i need hub puller to remove hub after bolt removed, and is hub nut reusable and how tight for hub nut.
Sorry about all the questions James

You shouldn't need a breaker bar.
You will need the remove the disk, caliper and dust shield.
Halfords do a hub puller for £12
They usually fall apart when being removed, so you may need to split the inner of the bearing, or just tap it off (but it's a tight fit).
To refit I put it on with a ring spanner between the hub and hub nut, do the nut up to push the hub on.
